After a couple of weeks of silence, the bells were ringing again on Sunday 26th May 2024 after their trip to John Taylor & Co in Loughborough.
As well as rebushing (replacing the bearing surface which the clappers swing on) the worn flats on the clapper balls were machined off to provide a smooth surface and the angled profiles at the top of the shafts from 1 to 4 were rounded off.
