A service at St Mary's, Weaverham
A morning service at St Mary’s

All regular Church services are currently much changed and many activities that involve meeting in person are suspended, in line with government and Church of England advice.

However, much is still going on. See the “This Week” tab. In particular, everyone is welcome to join our Sunday service at 10.00am, or or join us live on Zoom, or watch the recording later on this website. The Zoom link is available on our weekly email. To receive this, email the office on

In time we expect to return to our previous pattern of services, detailed below.

Coffee after the service
We serve coffee and tea after most services

You will be made welcome at all our services. In “normal times” we usually serve refreshments during a time of fellowship after our services. Even on our current Zoom services there is an opportunity for those who wish to chat over coffee afterwards, but sadly you have to make your own!

Pre-Covid, our regular services were as follows:

8.30am – Communion Service (without music)
10.30am – Morning service – more modern and less formal; All Age 1st Sunday of month (informal worship and fun activities for all age groups)
6.30pm – Evening service – more formal, robed choir, organ, communion 1st Sunday of the month.
Eight times a year we have a Methodist service in the morning and the evening.
