We will not be ringing bells for a couple of weeks. The clappers will be removed from the bells and returned to Taylors of Loughborough to be “rebushed”.
The bells will not be ringing from Tuesday May 7th for the next couple of weeks, hopefully we will have them back by Sunday May 26th. It has been some 40 years since any significant work has been carried out on the bells and this work should stand us in good stead for the next 40 or fifty years.
