Dates for your diary – Autumn 2024 is shaping up to be a busy time!
Don’t miss Café Church on 1 September on the awesomeness of creation and what that tells us about God.
On 13 September, David Dean, the Chief Partnership Coordinator of Barnabas Aid, will be describing the work of the organisation in supporting persecuted Christians around the world. David has first hand experience of the situation of Christians in Pakistan. The event is in the Lighthouse, 7.30-9pm and there will be light refreshments.
On 28 September 1-5pm there is a Steam and Transport Fun Day, where we will host an impressive Steam organ and a Showman’s Steam Engine, alongside a model railway, Scalextric challenge AND a Teddy Bear’s Zip wire – yes, please do bring your most adventurous bear along for a ride from the top of the tower! On September 29th you are all invited to come along and celebrate Harvest with us at the 10.30am service followed by a “bring and share” lunch.
On Saturday October 5th, the Kelsborrow Choir will perform at Church from 7pm, alongside the Cheshire Youth Wind Band, drawing together talented musicians from across the region – as usual free entry but donations towards the St Mary’s Building the Future fund are always welcome.
