The Upcycling Shed has just completed a new project. Yvonne donated an old cast iron bedroom fire place, see picture.
Quite a task – but not for the Upcycling Team! The fireplace has been sand blasted, repainted several times and a new top and alterations to the bottom and ‘voila’ the grate is ready for the team to sell hopefully with a profit for the Upcycling funds. Well done Team!

The Upcycling Shed meets on Thursdays 9.30-12.30 in the Lighthouse Annexe. Bring your project or join in with a range of projects on the go. Lots of equipment (the lathe is very popular!), hot drinks and biscuits.
